Has your New Year’s resolution turned into your
New Year’s revolution? Your body and brain didn’t really take to
your decision to stop eating, did it?
You are probably looking for ways to get back
on track with your weight. Didn’t you know that you can’t let your
brain in on your decision to eat less? The brain wants to protect
you against starvation, so the word “diet” is a personal affront to
the belief system of the brain.
If you have forgotten, let me remind you that
our food supply has become less and less nourishing. Failure of
growers to participate in things like crop rotation, resting the
soil, and the use of legumes to help restore the richness of our
food suppl
The abnormal number of obese and even
over-weight people attests to their condition being tied to
nourishment. Not only the food supply, but the reliance on fast food
chains, quick fix TV dinners, snacks and too many trips to the
fridge after 8:00 p.m.
Upon absorbing unnourished food, the cells are
not fed to satisfaction. The appetite then kicks in for more food.
Couple that with the fast food snacks and unhealthy eating habits
and you have a nation of overweight and obese people.
If this continues Wal-Mart will have to double
the number of motorized vehicles to carry people who cannot
comfortably carry themselves.
In this fast moving society it is not always
prudent to avoid the fast food places. That is why I have been able
to keep weight down and energy up through the use of a nutritional
supplement. A food supplement that completes the mission of what
nutritious food should provide the body’s cells.
I have only found one that gives me everything
I need from a nutritional standpoint. I do not have to take a
handful of vitamins, minerals or fiber. All is contained in my
supplement.
I mix one drink in the morning and one just
prior to the evening meal. That leaves me free to go wild at lunch
and have whatever I desire.
In addition to the drinks, I have a small snack
of nutritious foods. You will find that you are not as hungry when
you are getting the proper nutrition to the cells.
For breakfast, in addition to my supplement, I
will fix a hard boiled egg, salt, pepper and a pat of real butter.
Some times I go for a piece of buttered toast. but I find the
straight protein of the egg and the butter is what helps me the
most.
Do not be tempted to skip breakfast to save
calories. This usually backfires as you end up eating and making bad
decisions at lunch.
No white bread toast, doughnuts or rolls or any
kind of pastries. Once you get your body lined out and see yourself
in the mirror, you will not crave these things.
I run from carbs but when I do eat toast I make
certain it is wheat toast or some whole-grain toast. Healthy fats
are O.K. Things like pecans, walnuts and some people only eat the
egg whites.
This combination offers a wealth of nutritious
ingredients, is the most satisfying for the calories and will keep
your hunger in check until lunch.
Protein-especially high-quality protein, such
as eggs – helps quell appetite. Sometimes I have a piece or two of
bacon instead of the toast. If often eat scrambled eggs and bacon or
sausage for the evening meal.
After I have my nutritional supplement drink
my appetite is not so out of control that I cannot reduce
quantities.
We are all busy. However, we should never be
too busy to have a lean protein breakfast.
From your nutritional supplement
drink to your choice of one or two of the traditional boiled or
scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage or wheat toast. If you need to,

glass of milk, you will be slim, trim and healthy.
