Colon Cancer: |
|
"Been There...Done That!" Have you got just a minute? I want to tell you about my experience with Colon Cancer. I awoke in the middle of the night with the urge for a bowel movement. Upon completion of same if was shocked to discover a large quantity of blood in the commode. It is hard to explain now, looking back, how scared I was. I don’t know if others who upon discovering something like this reacted in the way that I did, but I suspect at least some did. I was scared, anxious and shaking like a leaf from chills and shock. Was this Mr. Macho who didn’t believe in Doctors and physical checkups or the dreaded digital exam. Could this be the same guy who pooh-poo'd natural supplements, vitamins and anti-toxins, parasites and colon cleansing. Well it was. This once macho-man was a basket of limp muscles and raw nerves. My wife and I quickly dressed and she was driving while I planned my funeral. My life literally was passing before my eyes. I wondered what would happen to my wife. I couldn't imagine not being in the lives of my 4 children, grandchildren and great grand children. When we arrived at the emergency room I found the staff to be perfectly calm at my condition and was not as worried as I thought they should be. As you might guess, it happened on an early
Saturday morning so I was x-rayed and almost ignored until Monday
morning when I was given a colonoscopy. A cancerous tumor was
discover and the wheels were put into motion for the surgery. Chemo to me had meant slow death, as it had been with my father and mother. I had been in chemo for about three weeks, very weak and nauseas, when a lady friend of the family, sent me a canister of a product which was pure rice bran that was milled from the outer husk of the rice kernel; a product that was thrown away in years past. The name of the product was Rice Solubles. I remained convinced that such products were useless and would not open the canister. But, as the days wore on, and I getting nauseas and extremely tired from the chemo, I decided to try the Seven Essentials. I was completely surprised to notice a huge surge of energy within about a week. Then the nausea got better. I would still get sick while they were giving me the chemo, but I never threw up again. When my chemo ended, the oncologist told me that I had been an extraordinary patient. That I had very little loss of blood cells, and no loss of hair. My color was good and I had not lost any weight. I have been cancer free for 7 years now. All my X-rays and blood tests are clear of the cancer. The colonoscopies have all been excellent and now I don’t have to go back for 5 years for another one. Now I don’t know just how all of this worked, but I do know that I don’t want to think about were I would be had I neglected to add Seven Essentials to my diet…to my life...maybe for my life. Attention Funeral Directors: My plans for immediate burial have been cancelled. I am holding the Grim Reaper at bay. |
