I RREGULAR
HEARTBEAT?
Cardiovascular problems are one of the leading causes of death
in the United States. Heart attacks cause over 550,000 deaths
annually. The medical cost of cardiovascular disease is over $56
billion a year. In the U.S., over 500,000 people have a stroke
every year, and there are over two million Americans currently
disabled by stroke.
Mineral imbalances, especially sodium, magnesium, calcium and potassium,
can affect the functioning of the heartbeat in both speed and
smoothness. The priority for adrenal glands and kidneys is to
help balance these minerals, even before making adrenaline. If
potassium is deficient, the pulse may speed up, while a
deficiency of sodium can cause the blood pressure to fail. Since
magnesium is essential for a regular, even heartbeat, a
deficiency can cause palpitations.
Calcium and magnesium compete for the same space on molecules, so a high
calcium/magnesium ratio can result in too little magnesium
getting to where it’s needed. There are expensive allopathic
drugs that block calcium to let magnesium regulate the heart.
However, over time this blocking of the calcium can contribute
to osteoporosis. Rather than taking a medication, why not
supplement the diet with magnesium?
Prescription drugs are moneymakers because they can be patented, and well
meaning doctors are often influenced by pharmaceutical
recommendations. There are also people who just don’t think it
can be as simple as supplementing with minerals. The best way to
find out is to try it yourself! ~By

Chocolate cravings are a sign of a
magnesium deficiency. Researchers
believe that some women crave
chocolate prior to menstruation
because it does contain high
levels of magnesium. A lack of
this important mineral can
cause insomnia, fatigue,
depression, anxiety, panic
attacks, irritability,
fibromyalgia, migraines,
attention deficit disorder,
hyperactivity, asthma, allergies,
arrhythmia, bladder problems & more.

NATURAL REMEDIES HEAL MORE
SUCCESSFULLY BECAUSE THEY
ADDRESS ROOT CAUSES.
“An evolution is occurring in health care as
more natural medicines gain acceptance, largely a result of
increased scientific investigation and the public’s awareness of
this research. Science is paving the way for the medicine of the
future; a medicine that recognizes the healing power of nature.”

DOCTORS HAVE SAID HIGH CHOLESTEROL, LACK OF EXERCISE AND A
SEDENTARY LIFESTYLE CAN LEAD TO HEART DISEASE. A LESS OBVIOUS
RISK FACTOR IS YOUR MAGNESIUM LEVEL.
“ABOUT 10-20% OF CARDIAC PATIENTS HAVE A
MAGNESIUM DEFICIENCY,” SAYS CARDIOLOGIST DR. PRADIP JAMNADA,
FROM FLORIDA. THIS CAN STEM FROM MEDICATIONS LIKE DIURETICS,
DIET AND EVEN BOTTLED WATER.
HE ADDED THAT CARBONATED DRINKS DO NOT
CONTAIN ANY MAGNESIUM, AND THEY ACTUALLY DEPLETE THE BODY OF IT.
A HIGH FAT DIET OR ONE THAT CONSISTS OF A LOT OF FLOUR AND BREAD
PRODUCTS CAN ALSO REDUCE MAGNESIUM LEVELS IN THE BODY. |

October 28 is…
National Chocolate Day!
Next time you share your chocolate with a friend
(you do share…
don’t you?)
you
can impress them with your knowledge of this delicious
indulgence!
• Consumers spend more than $7 billion a year on chocolate.
•
About 92% of people prefer milk chocolate to dark chocolate.
•
Annual chocolate consumption is about 12 pounds per person.
•
1 oz. of chocolate contains Vitamins A1, B1, B2, C, D, E,
Iron, Calcium & Potassium.
•
Chocolate syrup was used for blood in the famous shower scene of
Hitchcock's "Psycho."
•
There are 10mgs of caffeine in 1 cup of cocoa; there are 125 mgs
in 1 cup of coffee.
•
You’d have to eat over 12 Hershey bars to get the same caffeine
that’s in 1 cup of coffee.
•
Chocolate can be lethal to dogs. Theobromine stimulates the
cardiac muscle and central nervous system. For a 10-lb. puppy, 2
ounces of chocolate can be poisonous!
•
One chocolate chip provides food energy for an adult to walk
about 150 feet.
•
It
would take 875,000 chocolate chips to provide the energy for a
hike around the world!

Chocolate was once considered valuable enough to be the
currency of entire civilizations; the ancient Aztecs and Mayans
used cacao beans for trade and money. Status, significance and
wealth were tied to this precious bean. |
