Y OUR
AMAZING
LIVER
!
The liver is the largest internal organ in your
body, weighing about 3 pounds. It’s an incredibly complex organ.
The body can’t survive over 24 hours without it.
It’s involved in over 500
body functions.
Your liver is responsible for making vital
substances, such as
proteins,
and processing nutrients.
Your liver is the major
detoxifying organ in your body.
It receives essential
nutrients from the intestine, storing and secreting them as
needed. It detoxifies
toxic
substances, rendering
them less harmful to your body. It produces bile, which contains
salts that are very important in the digestion of fats. It helps
regulate blood sugar levels by storing and releasing sugar as
glycogen, which is the body’s primary energy source.
Your liver produces
approximately 400 enzymes
which facilitate many
body functions, including but not limited to digestion.
Many
things increase the work our liver must do to keep us healthy
and alive. Waste and toxins build up in the body from our modern
lifestyles. Years of fast food, cigarettes, drugs, alcohol,
pollutants, preservatives and other
toxic
substances burden our
systems and challenge the liver’s ability to function
effectively. Add to that indigestion, constipation, illnesses,
stress, sedentary lifestyles, and you have a recipe for bad
health.
Anything you do to promote the health of your
liver will help you live a longer, healthier life.
Taking Liver
Cleanse is one of the healthiest things you can do to support
the liver! ~Dr.

Have a Healthy Holiday!
Healthy Thoughts = Healthy Choices:
Consider what you
can do to enjoy exercise & nutritious foods.
Exercise for
Stress: When
overwhelmed, we tend to eat more & sleep less. Consciously
choose
exercise to reduce
stress.
Plan simple
menus: Offer a
simple menu, vegetables and fruit. The fewer the choices, the
less you’ll eat.
Never go
hungry: Eat
regular meals and always drink your E7 before going to a party.
Savor your
favorites & skip the rest:
Limit extras. If it is
not “to die for,” then why eat it?
Go Sugar-Free:
Make, take & eat
holiday delights that are sugar-free so you will feel more
guilt-free!
Move away from
the food table:
Don’t court failure by
tempting yourself to “stand-pick-and-eat.”
Talk a lot &
listen even more:
The more you talk &
listen, the less you eat. Parties may be
all about food,
but you can be
all about socializing.
Go slow:
It takes about 20
minutes for the “full” signal from our stomach to reach our
brain.
Avoid alcohol:
Alcohol damages
the liver, impairs judgment and stimulates the appetite. |
Cleanse the Body of Toxins!
The fibers and essential oils in Seven
Essentials provide the means of removing toxins from our body.
People who are deficient in oils tend to absorb more oil-based
environmental toxins like a dry sponge soaks up water. A healthy
body with sufficient oils will repel chemicals, like oil on a
duck’s feathers causes them to repel water. |
Love Your Liver… You Only Have One!
Below are many things you can do to enhance
your
immune system and promote the health of your liver.
Drink Clean Water: Every healing process
that occurs in the body, involves water. Our body instinctively
strives to be healthy and sustain youthful longevity, and water
is the key.
Purge Parasites: Dead parasites act as
the center for cholesterol to form gallstones. Groups of
bacteria have the same effect. Use
Parasite Cleanse to help purge
parasites from your body.
Reduce Red Meats: Too much red meat will
increase your cholesterol and strain your liver.
Drink Fruits & Veggies: Fresh juices are
rich in vitamins, minerals and enzymes, and are an easy way to
clean out toxins. They also reduce cravings for alcohol and
sweet things.
Forgo The Fats: Especially fried and junk
foods, dairy, hydrogenated fats and oils.
Think Green: Green salads, green
vegetables, spirulina-rich chlorophyll, chlorella and barley
grass helps boost metabolism and the immune system.
Alcohol & Caffeine: They poison the
liver! Drink water instead.
Sufficient Sleep: It increases melatonin,
neutralizes free radicals and regenerates the body.
Promote Bile: Artichoke, dandelion, beets
and radishes increases bile flow and toxin removal.
Exercise: Building strong bones and
muscles provides a reserve to fight the physical complications
of liver disease.
Don’t Do Drugs: Avoid street drugs,
prescriptions and over-the-counter medications, including
anti-inflammatories, antibiotics, pain killers, etc.
Avoid Toxins: All chemicals harm the
liver - avoid any exposure!
Stop Stress: Stress doesn’t directly
cause disease, but it contributes by suppressing the immune
system which increases vulnerability to disease.
Refuse Tobacco: Along with nicotine,
tobacco contains carcinogens, which increases the risk for
cancer.
Attitude: Laughter and a positive
attitude help many cope better with disease. Positive thinking
is a powerful tool that all have access to, but few use fully.
Oxygenate Blood: Toxin-loaded blood from
a weak liver has limited capacity to carry oxygen; brain cells
are affected the most. Oxygenate the blood with deep breathing
or brisk walks. |

The liver breaks down alcohol into harmless
by-products & removes it from the body. Long term, heavy
drinking damages the liver. |
|
COLLEGE DRINKING RESEARCH
College drinking has been a persistent problem.
Despite efforts to stop drinking on and around campus, the
majority of students (both “of age” and under-age) continue to
drink, many of them heavily. The negative consequences of
drinking alcohol by our country’s college students are
wide-ranging; including academic problems, date rape, assault,
death from accidental injuries and alcohol poisoning. Clearly,
these consequences affect both the drinkers and those around
them. |

Did
You Know? ????
Artichoke, avocado, beetroot, chicory &
sarsaparilla all have something in common…
They
specifically benefit the liver. Try to incorporate these into
your diet! |
|
I provide preventative health benefits &
protection. I am very high in fiber, potassium, calcium, iron,
phosphorus and other trace elements that are important for a
balanced system. I am a natural remedy used to improve digestive
disorders, significantly lower LDL cholesterol levels, prevent
heart disease and atherosclerosis, enhance detoxification,
improve gall secretions and protect the liver from damage. I
help with gout and support hepatitis treatments. I lower blood
sugar, I’m a diuretic, I help with migraines and I help remove
toxins. I also have the added benefit of improving skin
luminosity.
I am an Artichoke! |
Abstinence, Artichoke & Sarsaparilla!
Most alcoholics with cognitive impairment show
some improvement in brain structure and functioning within a
year of abstinence, though others take much longer. In double
blind placebo tests, a unique blend of artichoke & sarsaparilla
has been proven to reverse alcohol damage.
Liver Cleanse contains this unique
blend and has been found to help rejuvenate the liver. |

HEALTHY FUEL
FOR HOLIDAY TRAVELING
Your car isn’t the only thing that needs fuel
for the road. However, healthy food can be hard to find at
convenience stores and restaurants. Avoid the
drive-through by bringing healthy, homemade snacks along for the
ride. Making snacks yourself gives you more control over
saturated and
trans fat, salt
and sugar content. Try to provide a balance of carbs, healthy
fats like those in nuts and olives, protein and fiber to help
keep blood sugar stable — and moods festive. |
FUEL
UP
WITH YUMMY HEALTHY SNACKS!
Fruits & Veggies:
Keep easy-to-eat finger
foods available: grapes, cherries, apples, carrot & celery
sticks, cherry tomatoes or broccoli.
Dips:
Put healthy dips in small
resealable containers for dipping cucumbers, broccoli and other
veggies. Try celery or apple slices dipped in peanut butter.
Cheese:
Cut up low-fat cheeses to
enjoy on whole-grain crackers.
Trail Mix:
Mix your favorite dried
fruits & nuts. Add whole-grain cereal for more fiber and
nutrition.
Cereal:
Pack high-fiber cereals
in containers or re-sealable bags! |
MORE ABOUT YOUR LIVER . . .
-
The liver is the most emotion-sensitive
organ. Emotionally sensitive people are more prone to a weak
liver even if they eat healthy and are not taking meds.
-
Chinese medicine says that anger injures the
liver, grief injures the lungs, fear injures the kidneys and
worry injures the spleen. These organs support each other &
work together. Disharmony in one organ produces a dangerous
imbalance.
The liver is positioned like a bridge between the returning
blood from the digestive system and the lower body, to the
heart. A weakened or congested liver obstructs blood flow to
the heart causing heart palpitations or attacks.
Stress congests and constricts the liver
causing the body to be sluggish.
Liver toxicity is a slow process. Often, the
only sign of trouble is poor digestion and low energy. Many
attribute it to aging, and do nothing until it is too late.
Fortunately, nature has endowed our liver
with excellent regenerative powers. If we can understand the
early signs of degeneration, we have an excellent chance of
restoring it to optimal functioning with proper care.

Cirrhosis of the Liver
Alcohol damages the liver, which acts as the
body’s filter for things we eat and drink. So when people drink,
the alcohol damages the liver as it passes through it.

Which liver would you prefer to have in your
body? |
Avoid Hepatic Encephalopathy
Prolonged liver damage like cirrhosis, can harm
the brain leading to a potentially fatal brain disorder known as
Hepatic Encephalopathy. This can cause many changes related to
sleep patterns, personality and mood. It can cause psychiatric
conditions such as anxiety and depression, bring on severe
cognitive effects such as shortened attention span and develop
problems with coordination such as a flapping or shaking of the
hands. In the most serious cases, patients can slip into a
potentially fatal coma. |

|
 Sarsaparilla Root |
|
Sarsaparilla contains the flavonoids sarsasapogenin
and smilagenin. A 2003 U.S. patent described them as effective in
treating autoimmune diseases and inflammatory reactions through their
immunomodulating effects. In this study, smilagenin reversed the decline
of brain receptors and cognitive function and enhanced memory and
learning. They also help treat senile dementia, cognitive dysfunction
and Alzheimer's disease. |
 |
Natural steroidal glycosides in Sarsaparilla help to
build muscle mass while avoiding harmful effects of anabolic steroids.
It boosts energy and stamina and eases the inflammation from exercise. |
|
Sarsaparilla is used in root beer and other drinks for
its foaming properties, not for its flavoring properties! |
|
Sarsaparilla’s diuretic properties help stimulate
urine production, increasing the excretion of uric acid which helps
relieve Gout. |

Liver
Cleanse -
"Optimal Health Depends on a Healthy Liver”
When the liver is over-stressed other organs start to
dysfunction. The liver works constantly to break down external toxins that
invade our body through breathing and eating, as well as internal toxins
produced during normally occurring metabolic processes. Symptoms such as
headaches, mental confusion, muscle pain, fatigue, poor coordination, nerve
problems, skin irritations and emotional imbalances can be a result of over
exposure to toxins.
When liver function is improved, the entire body will benefit!
Liver Cleanse contains a
synergistic blend of sarsaparilla and artichoke root extracts, which are proven
to help support and rejuvenate the liver, that are obtained through a
proprietary extraction process. May we suggest that you Liver Cleanse by
cleaning your internal environment and giving your liver the nutritional support
