Intestinal Cleanse - Should You Cleanse Your Body?
Do you clean your skin? Do you shampoo your hair?
If you do, you might want to consider cleansing the inside of your
body.
The body is designed to flush toxins and waste from the body
in the form of urine and feces. Regular bowel movements remove
waste from the gastrointestinal tract. A healthy diet rich in
fiber and water ensures this.
But, if you have intestinal problems and do not have regular bowel
movements, you might want to consider periodically using a
natural cleanse to clean your
system. By periodically, we do not mean on a regular basis!
Necessary nutrients are stored in the intestines where they are then
absorbed into the bloodstream to be spread around your body. You
do not want to have a shortage of
vitamins and minerals. And,
regular use of laxatives and enemas can result in a lazy colon.
The colon is a muscle and it needs to be worked.
Be sure that if you do try to cleanse that you drink lots of water.
Dehydration is a worry when you are flushing the body. |
