Gas
Having Too Much Gas Can Be a Symptom of Acid Reflux,
Gastritis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome or Another Digestive Health Problem
Gas forms in the digestive tract when there is not enough good
bacteria to break down the food in your small intestine. When the
undigested food moves into the large intestine, the bad bacteria
begins to eat on it creating carbon dioxide, hydrogen and methane while
they are at work. This causes a bloated feeling that can range
from an ache to a sharp pain. The gas moves through your system
and is expelled. This can cause embarrassing situations.
And, if the bad bacteria are not removed, they can
destroy the good bacteria which is necessary for good health.
