Toxic Foods
Salmonella is a bacteria that is usually found in eggs,
poultry, unprocessed milk, meat and water.
The bacteria attacks the intestines and the stomach and
can even be found in the lymph tract. Children and
seniors are more likely to have a serious infection.
Salmonella food poisoning causes either diarrhea or
constipation, headaches, abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting,
fever and even blood in feces.
You should contact a doctor immediately if you continue
to have diarrhea for more than 24 hours, if stomach cramps
are severe, blood is in the feces, signs of jaundice begin
to show, the patient is dehydrated, or the patient has a
high fever.
To avoid a case of salmonella, wash your hands after
going to the bathroom, wash your hands before cooking, wash
your hands when changing from one type of food preparation
to another, use different knives and cutting boards for each
food, store foods as soon as possible and do not leave them
out, be sure to thoroughly cook your food, wash your hands
after handling eggs, and switch out dishcloths every day.
The dishcloth is often the dirtiest thing in your kitchen!
